KEMS, since its establishment, has turned out impressive results, which is an affirmation of the dedicated staff, innovative educational programmes and excellent physical resources. Apart from an impressive record in all areas of academic, KEMS offers facilities for a variety of cultural pursuits, sports and games assuring all round development of the students.

Has been established in 2006 as a B. Ed college with the aim of developing the inherent capabilities of students aspiring to be teacher. The teaching faculty of the college consists of a team of dedicated teachers including teachers for computer application, Physical and health education and work experience. Students are encouraged to visit remote areas in and around the village to provide programmes on various aspects and counseling programm.

Mportant Siva Temple in Central Travancore known as Thrikkaviyoor Mahadevar Temple. It is believed to have been constructed in the early years of the 10th century. The temple is more than thousand years old. But the actual time of construction is not known,like any other old temples. Certainly, this temple belongs to the oldest period of strucural temples. This is one of the famous major temples of Travancore Devaswam Board under Thiruvalla group of temples.
